Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What is Hack the Galaxy?
A: Hack the Galaxy is a series of challenges, puzzles, hackathons and events to win real tickets to ride to space in a private Space Perspective capsule launching in 2026. To participate, you must join the Rapyd Developer community. Then solve the current Hack the Galaxy puzzle posted in the dev community. The answer to each puzzle is a password that unlocks one or more entries into the next drawing for tickets to space and other prizes. Enter the solution at www.hackthegalaxy.dev/solve/ to see if you’ve hacked the puzzle and earned a chance to win.

The more puzzles you solve, the more chances you have to win in the next drawing. Puzzles get more difficult and earn you more entries as we get closer to the prize drawing. So join the Rapyd Developer Community today and start solving your way to the stratosphere.

The third and final mission ends on October 7, 2022.

Q: How do I enter Hack the Galaxy?
A: During the Competition Entry Period go to https://community.rapyd.net, click “Sign Up,” and follow the instructions to create an account in the forum. The forum is where you will find the puzzles. Once you know the solution to a puzzle, go to www.hackthegalaxy.dev/solve to enter the solution. All puzzles are skill and knowledge-based puzzles. You can attempt to solve a puzzle as many times as you wish but you may only enter the correct answer to each puzzle once.

Q: When are new puzzles posted?
New puzzles are typically posted every Monday and Thursday. However, as we get closer to the drawing for tickets to the edge of space, we share even more puzzles to give participants more chances to win. The puzzle difficulty also increases closer to the drawing and harder puzzles earn you more entries. So check back in the Rapyd Developer Community often to solve more puzzles and increase your chances to win.

Q: When does Hack-the-Galaxy take place?
A: Hack the Galaxy is a series of events that takes place throughout 2022. Multiple puzzles are published each week in the Rapyd Developer Community starting June 7.

Each puzzle you solve earns you one or more entries into the next drawing for a ticket to space and other prizes. Some puzzles earn more than one entry. The harder the puzzle, the more entries you get for solving it. The hardest puzzles can earn you up to 20 entries.

There will be three drawings for tickets to the edge of space throughout the year, plus ten drawings for other prizes.

Drawings take place:
July 6, 2022
August 29, 2022
October 10, 2022

There are also 3 hackathons throughout the year that give you additional opportunities to win tickets to the edge of spaces plus over a million dollars in cash, prizes and trips. Visit the events page to check out our upcoming hackathons.
